Rincon/University standout Ethan Lee will be part of the inaugural Net Generation Aces Program according to the United States Tennis Association (USTA).

According to a release by the USTA, the program identified athletes between the ages of 13 and 17 who are making a positive difference in their local communities through creative and impactful tennis programs:

“Even at a young age, Lee, 16, a junior to be at Rincon/University High School, has made a mark on his community. He volunteers regularly with an assortment of community-focused organizations, including Casa Maria Soup Kitchen, Community Food Bank, Tucson Clean & Beautiful, Grow to Be Fit and Beads of Courage. In addition, this past summer Lee served at Camp SWIFT in Prescott, Arizona as a camp counselor for underprivileged children ages 9-11 years old.”

Currently ranked No. 3 at the age 16 level for the Southwest, Lee captured the AIA Division I Singles championship last year for the Rangers.

Lee will attend the US Open as part of the program and he will represent USTA on many issues including sportsmanship and community involvement.
