The business of qualfying for the Division I, II, III and IV state cross country meets takes place Friday (Oct. 28) and Saturday (Oct. 29) at sectional meets at five sites across the state.

Half of the teams competing in each sectional qualify for their respective division team titles and the top 25 individuals earn automatic berths at state. 

Here are the sectional locations and race times for each section meet:

Six sectionals will be contested on Friday October 28. Two each at Grand Canal Linear Park in Glendale, Freestone Park in Gilbert and Holbrook Golf Course in Holbrook.

Grand Canal Linear Park race times -- Division I, Section I boys at 9 a.m. and girls at 9:45 a.m. and Division III, Section III girls at 10:30 a.m. and boys at 11:15 a.m.  Freestone Park race times -- Division I, Section II boys at 12:30 p.m. and girls at 1:05 p.m. and Division IV, Section II boys at 1:40 p.m. and girls at 2:15 p.m. Holbrook Golf Course race times -- Division III, Section I boys at 1 p.m. and girls at 1:30 p.m. and Division IV, Section I boys at 2 p.m. and girls at 2:30 p.m.

The remaining six sectionals are Saturday October 29, three each at Skunk Creek in Phoenix and Marana High School in Marana.

Skunk Creek race times -- Division I, Section III boys at 9 a.m. and girls at 9:30 a.m.; Division II, Section III boys at 10 a.m. and girls at 10:30 a.m. and Division II, Section I girls at 11 a.m. and boys at 11:30 a.m.. Marana High School race times -- Division II, Section II girls at 8:15 a.m. and boys at 9 a.m.; Division III, Section II girls at 9:45 a.m. and boys at 10:30 a.m. and Division IV, Section III girls at 11:15 a.m. and boys at noon.
