Megan Collard, a freshman at Gilbert Christian High School, had an impressive year on the Cross Country team this season. She has been running on a cross country team for three years, but this is her first year at the high school. Her starting point at the beginning of the season was 22:53. Her personal record is 21:14. She was able to shave off over one minute of time. This is a huge accomplishment in cross country.

Megan strives to be the best she can be because she enjoys doing cross country and always has fun. Megan loves running, the meets, friendships on the team, and has a natural competitiveness that helps her to be as successful as possible at each meet she runs.

From Coach Gianiorio “Megan had a great year for us this season. She was extremely coachable and hardworking. If she continues to put in the work and give it her all like she did this season, then the sky is the limit!”
