With Desert Mountain and Notre Dame Prep winning the Division I and Division II baseball crowns, respectively, on Tuesday night, the 2012-2013 prep athletic year ended.

That means the championship scorecard is complete and there are facts and figures that can now be told. Here they are:

There were 72 championship trophies handed out covering 13 sports. Fifty-three schools won a state title. Walking away with the most was Xavier Prep with five. Brophy Prep and Salpointe Catholic notched four apiece and Ironwood Ridge captured three. Seven schools won two -- Blue Ridge, Catalina Foothills, Flagstaff, Hopi, Joy Christian, Pusch Ridge and Thunderbird. Private schools took home 26 of the titles.
