Receiver N'keal Harry soars through the air during a photo shoot at Chandler High School's football stadium in April.

Photographer Mark Jones wanted to make sure to capture all the images he needed for his Preseason Top 25 photo shoot, but he also wanted the players to enjoy the experience.

Judging by their reactions, they certainly did.

Jones, who lives in the Phoenix area and is a member of the MaxPreps Photographers' Network, photographed nine top players and head coach Shaun Aguano from the Chandler High School football team in April. He staged the photo shoot at the school's on-campus football stadium.

"I love doing these shoots because the players are always very honored to be featured by MaxPreps," Jones said. "The players especially enjoyed the end of of the shoot where we used the huge mat that the pole vaulters use to fall into. I had the players dive in the air and across the mat while looking at me as I took pictures of them catching the ball. After each photo, the players huddled around my camera to see the resulting shot."

Jones began the photo session by taking group photos of the players and coach in the bleachers using the press box with "Wolves" written across it as the background. From there, he moved down to the field to take more photos, including several individual shots of players in different poses.

"A few of the players had their 2014 state championship rings on and were doing everything they could to make sure the ring could be seen in the photos," Jones said. "Needless to say they were very proud of the fact that they had won the state title last season."
