GTM Sportswear Partners with Arizona Interscholastic Association to Support Arizona High School Spirit Line Championships

PHOENIX, AZ – Building on growing momentum for Spirit Line participation across Arizona high schools, GTM Sportswear of Manhattan, KS, has agreed to partner with the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) to enhance statewide Spirit Line competition.

Over the 2015-2016 academic year, GTM Sportswear will advise AIA on national trends and best practices, as well as provide and present the Coach of the Year and Team of the Year awards at the AIA Spirit Line Championships in February 2016.

“Spirit Line is becoming an integral part of promoting sportsmanship and excitement in the Arizona high school culture and game day atmosphere,” said Harold Slemmer, Executive Director of the Arizona Interscholastic Association. “AIA is committed to both encouraging more participation in Spirit Line and ensuring that our students, coaches and parents gain a better understanding of the creative ideas, apparel, routines, and safety measures considered best-of-class across the country.”

“GTM Sportswear is an ideal partner to help us achieve these goals,” continued Slemmer.

“GTM is proud to support dedicated student athletes, their coaches, and passionate fans in the state of Arizona through AIA’s cheerleading championships,” said Mandi Schmidt, GTM Sportswear Sponsorship and Fundraising Manager. “With AIA’s commitment to offering students lifetime learning experiences through athletics, we look forward to continuing to expand our relationship with them and their member schools.”
