Shadow Mountain gives Findlay Prep a game, scare

Shadow Mountain almost upset Nevada Findlay Prep, maxpreps’ 10th-ranked team.
But a couple of technical fouls and Findlay Prep free throws late in the game were the difference down the stretch. Down three, Shadow Mountain still had a final chance to tie the game, but its final shot didn’t fall in.
Friday's game featured a couple of former Arizona high school standouts, Findlay Prep’s Markus Howard (Perry High) and Carlos Johnson, who helped Shadow Mountain win a state championship two seasons ago.
But the player who really stood out during Findlay Prep’s 66-63 win at Rancho Solano Prep was Shadow Mountain’s point guard, Michael Bibby. The senior guard scored a game-high 26 points.
In the highlight video above, Findlay Prep is the visiting team on the scoreboard.
