Canyon del Oro, Desert Mountain, Red Mountain and Chaparral all won championship bracket games early Saturday afternoon to advance to the semifinals of the Desert Mountain Softball Invitational at Horizon Park.

Top-seed Canyon del Oro run-ruled No. 8 Mesquite, 13-3; No. 4 Red Mountain knocked off No. 5 Pinnacle, 12-3; No. 3 Desert Mountain edged No. 6 Gilbert 2-1 and No. 7 Chaparral topped No. 2 Sabino, 6-2.

The semifinal matchups begin at 3 p.m. with Canyon del Oro battling Red Mountain and Desert Mountain facing Chaparral. The winner of those games meet for the championship at 7 p.m.
