Most of the 5A-I and 5A-II boys and girls team tennis semifinals are set after those advancing had little trouble in doing so.

Two 5A-II quarterfinal matches will be played on Monday April 25 -- Pinnacle at Chaparral and Desert Mountain at Centennial. Both will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Advancing to the April 27 team semifinals, all to be played at Paseo Racquet Center in Glendale, are:

5A-I boys: Salpointe over Desert Vista, 5-1; Mesa Mtn. View over Mesquite, 5-0; Hamilton over Corona del Sol, 5-1; Brophy over Highland, 5-0. April 27 semifinal matchups: 3:30 p.m. -- Salpointe vs. Mesa Mtn. View; 4 p.m. -- Hamilton vs. Brophy. 5A-II boys: Chaparral over Cibola, 5-0; Millennium over Ironwood Ridge, 5-4; Boulder Creek over Betty Fairfax, 5-0; Desert Mountain over Horizon, 5-0. April 27 semifinal matchups: 11:30 a.m. -- Chaparral vs. Millennium; 1 p.m. - Boulder Creek vs. Desert Mountain. 5A-I girls: Xavier over Hamilton, 5-4; Desert Vista over Mesquite, 5-1; Mesa Mtn. View over Highland, 5-0; Salpointe over Corona del Sol, 5-0. April 27 semifinal matchups: 1:30 p.m. - Xavier vs. Desert Vista; 2 p.m. -- Mesa Mtn. View vs. Salpointe. 5A-II girls: Millennium over Sandra Day O'Connor, 5-0; Ironwood Ridge over Boulder Creek, 5-2.
