The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) today announced that Bank of the West will be the Exclusive Banking Partner of the AIA for the next three years. Through this partnership, Bank of the West will have a unique platform through which they will be able to educate students and parents across Arizona on the importance of financial responsibility.

“Adding a partner in Bank of the West will help our fans in many different ways,” said AIA Executive Director David Hines. “Financial responsibility is very important to plan for the future, and Bank of the West will be able to spread this message at our events and through our communications. They are just as committed to community strength as we are.”

As the Exclusive Banking Partner of the AIA through 2021, Bank of the West also becomes the presenting partner of the AIA Baseball State Championship games and will aid in the launch of the AZPreps Live mobile app, to be released later this year.

“We are thrilled that this new partnership with the AIA will allow us to take an even more active role in advocating for financial education throughout Arizona,” said John Thomason, Executive Vice President and head of Bank of the West’s Tempe office. “Our work with the AIA gives us yet another avenue to shed light on such an important issue and aligning with the Baseball State Championship was natural since Baseball is a big part of Arizona’s sports heritage.”
