Former Coconino standout Jacqulynn Nakai became the first Pima College women’s basketball player selected Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Two-Year College Coaches’ All-American. That high recognition came on the heels of her first team All-Region I, Division II award, her NJCAA All-American honor and her ACCAC Division II Player of the Year honor.

Nakai is one of an elite group of 40 student-athletes invited to the 10th Annual NJCAA Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Weekend taking place from July 26-29 in Atlanta.

Nakai played in all 32 games this season averaging 17.3 points, 6.7 assists and 4.8 rebounds.
