Better Business Bureau (BBB) has renewed its partnership with the Arizona Interscholastic Association to help promote the state’s student-athletes, championships and special events.

BBB once again spearheaded the Ethical Athlete campaign during the 2017-18 school year. During this period, BBB and program sponsor Isagenix, awarded 18 student athletes across Arizona with $23,000 in scholarships. The award highlights a student athlete’s ethical compass and willingness to do the right thing, even in the most difficult situations. Examples may include situations on and off the playing field and should demonstrate the student’s character and their influence on others – teammates, coaches or fans.

"We are so proud of and impressed by the students who receive BBB Ethical Athlete scholarships each year. These students are our future business leaders and workforce, so recognizing them at this stage in life for doing the right thing sends an important message," BBB VP and Chief Brand Officer Felicia Thompson said.

Anyone can nominate a student for the BBB Ethical Athlete award throughout the school year. Nominations are available via AZPreps365’s social media accounts and at athlete.arizonabbb.org. For a complete list of champions click here.
