15 Arizona football standouts named to inaugural All-SAC Football Team

Shamar Moreland (Ottawa)

21 colleges and universities make up the  Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) with Arizona Christian University and Ottawa University of Arizona taking part as associate members of the conference.

Former Fairfax standout Shamar Moreland was named SAC Special Teams Player of the Year. The Ottawa freshman ran back punts and kickoffs and he was placed on the First Team for both.

Former Ironwood Ridge lineman Tristan Shehorn was placed on the first team as an offensive lineman from Ottawa as a sophomore.

Former Dobson standout Jaron Green earned Second Team status as a junior lineman from Arizona Christian.

Former Canyon del Oro standout Josh Cronk was placed on the Second Team as a senior offensive lineman from Arizona Christian.

Former Fountain Hills standout Austin Lloyd was placed on the Second Team as a freshman offensive lineman from Ottawa.

Former Centennial standout Amare Burks was placed on the Second Team as a junior DB from Ottawa.
