Mason Quagliata & Mason Domecq qualify for 72nd U.S. Junior Amateur

Former Notre Dame Prep standout Mason Quagliata and former Chaparral standout Mason Domecq qualified for the 72nd U.S. Junior Amateur on June 13 at the Pinnacle Peak Country Club in Scottsdale. Quagliata shot a 4-under-par 68 and Domecq came in one shot back.

Former Saguaro standout William Koepka is the first alternate from the Scottsdale qualifier Domecq held Koepka off after a 2-hole playoff.

The U.S. Junior Amateur will be played in Ohio from July 15-20.

Former Sunnyslope standout Joey Geary shot an even 71 at the Michigan qualifier on June 17 to earn an alternate spot. Notre Dame Prep junior Cade Anderson earned an alternate position at the Idaho qualifier held on June 18.

Qualifying ended on June 25.
