Eloy, Arizona. On Wednesday, December 4th, the men’s varsity soccer team competed against The Santa Cruz Dust Devils. The evening was cold and threatened to rain. The Knights traveled an hour away to Santa Cruz Valley Union High School. This was the second game of the season and keeping their winning streak, won 6-2. Connor Wiejaczka and Brody Curtner both got 2 goals and Daniel Asicona and Ben Johnson both got 1 goal. The game went really well as the team worked together and played hard. Nick Hoffman said “I thought the team did better at last night's game than our first one, and the freshman did good for their second game of the season, along with Keegan Heivilin, Jadon Grant, Daniel McVey, and Jake Dickinson did good too. So we all were more successful at last night's game than our first one,” and Dominic Campos also said “We played well, but it was definitely a learning point for us!”
