The Arizona Interscholastic Association has entered into an agreement with Mountain America Credit Union to become the “Exclusive Credit Union of the AIA” beginning with the 2020-21 school year.

Mountain America will be the presenting partner of aiaonline.org and AZPreps365.com, and will also be a founding partner of the AIA’s Student Leadership Advisory Committee. With these platforms, Mountain America will assist in providing financial education to the AIA’s member schools and SLAC at meetings and with correspondences throughout the year.

“Mountain America is honored to partner with the Arizona Interscholastic Association to promote leadership development and financial education,” says Sterling Nielsen, president and chief executive officer at Mountain America Credit Union. “Their programs allow students to develop the skills and discipline needed to be successful in school and in life.”

Mountain America is actively involved in the Arizona community. Their local partnerships include the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Coyotes, Fighter Country, Southwest Human Development, UCCAN, and the Arizona PTA. Through their support of Southwest Human Development, Mountain America recently opened six Little Free Libraries at their Arizona branches to promote literacy and early childhood development. The organization also offers its assistance to other entities such as the Utah High School Activities Association, Huntsman Cancer Foundation, the Utah Jazz, Primary Children’s Hospital, Boise State University, St. Luke’s Foundation and many others.
