North Canyon standout Dominique Mustin was the 2019 Gatorade Female Track and Field Athlete of the Year for Arizona last year after the Texas A&M commit won the Division II 100 hurdles, 400 meters and the 800 meters. She was also part of the state champion 4x400 relay team which helped lead the Rattlers to their third straight state team championship.

Removing relays from the equation, Mustin had five state-qualifying times before the spring season was cut short, giving her the most for a senior. Other seniors with three qualifying times or marks include Rincon/University standout Grace Driskill, Chandler standout Cierra Jackson and Shadow Mountain standout Gifty Doeplah.

Driskill is a University of Arizona commit and she won the D-II 1600 and the 3200 last year while taking third in the 800. Doeplah won the D-III 100, 200 and long jump and she came in second in the 400. Jackson won the D-I shot put, she took second in the javelin and third in the discus throw.
