Team Arizona wins the 54th Eddie Hogan Cup

Team Arizona won the 54th Eddie Hogan Cup played at the Riverside Country Club in Portland, Oregon on Saturday and Sunday. The Hogan Cup is comprised of team matches from the Western United States and Canada over 36 holes.

Arizona outlasted Oregon 433 (220-213) to 440 (223-217) in the format that tabulates the top three out of four scores. Idaho came in third place with a score of 441 (227-214).

Individually, Hamilton’s Mahanth Chirravuri shot 139 (71-68) to claim first place, Baron Nguyen of California shot 143 (72-71) and Michael Riebe of San Diego took third with a score of 144 (74-70). Brasen Briones of Ironwood Ridge tied for fourth place with a 145 (76-69).
