AZ High School Fall Preview

Aug. 25-26: Grand Canyon GC

 

Cactus Shadows came away with the win at the Arizona High School Preview (Charlie Beljan Division) this past weekend at the Grand Canyon Golf Course. The Falcons beat Williams field by four strokes 589 to 593 in the 36-hole tournament.

Desert Mountain senior Max Engel pulled away from the field and shot a 7-under 135 to win the individual title by six strokes.

Engel, Jake Benanti (Cactus Shadows), Gabe Gabe Salvanera (Queen Creek), Dylan Middlemiss (Williams Field), Cameron Barzekoff (Red Mountain), Jarrod Johnson (Ironwood Ridge), Britton Liming Red Mountain), Peyton Richardson (Cactus Shadows), Kohl Kuebler (Williams Field) and Jack Call (Canyon del Oro) were named to the All-Tournament Team.
