Cienega is coming off a major victory over Marana (Andy Morales/AZPreps365.com)

6A: Cesar Chavez (3-0) would have to lose their last two games and Tucson (3-1) would need to win their last game to set up a 6A Metro championship for the Badgers.

5A: Cienega (3-0) can clinch the 5A Southern Region if they beat Nogales (0-3) and Buena (2-1) beats Ironwood Ridge (2-1). Cienega beat Buena two weeks ago.

5A: Flowing Wells (3-0) and Mountain View (3-0) will have to wait for the final week but Mountain View can knock Desert View (2-1) out of the 5A Sonoran race this Friday.

4A: Salpointe (3-0) can win the 4A Kino Region with a win over Catalina Foothills (2-1) this Friday. The Lancers would need to lose their last two region games to give Catalina Foothills and Sahuaro (2-1) a shot at the title.

4A: Walden Grove (3-0) can win the 4A Gila Region with a win over Amphitheater (2-1) on Friday. Walden Grove would have to lose their last two games to give Amphitheater and Pueblo (2-1) a chance.

3A: Sabino (3-0) and Safford (3-0) will have to wait one more week for their showdown. Safford can knock Pusch Ridge (2-1) out of the region picture with a win Friday. Pusch Ridge would need to win their last two and hope Sabino loses out.

2A: Benson (3-0) and Willcox (2-0) will meet in two weeks. Tombstone (0-1) is still in the 2A San Pedro playoff picture in a region that is still playing freedom games this late in the season.

NOTE: Region championships do not guarantee a playoff berth in 6A and 5A.
