Both Pinnacle and Desert Vista are coming off big first round wins last week. The Pinnacle Pioneers (9-2) were a 33-14 winner over Yuma Cibola while the Thunder (10-1) easily disposed of North Canyon 42-7. Pinnacle also played North Canyon earlier this season, posting a 21 point victory. Pinnacle looks to build on what has been a very strong season for the program, while Desert Vista looks for a return trip to the semifinals in this Division I 2nd round playoff game. Should be a good one in Ahwatukee Thursday night.
