Burley Johnson attends Prescott High School and is a member of AIA's Student SID Program.

On Monday night Kennedy Carr showed why she deserves to play at the next level. Kennedy went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs batted in, and two stolen bases. Kennedy got the Badgers started off with an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning. Prescott added four more runs in the bottom of the second with five hits. Kennedy signed this past week to continue her education and softball career with Daytona State in Florida.

Kennedy was not the only senior to shine on senior night. RJ Parra made an impact at the mound and at the plate. She struck out eleven batters and only gave up two hits in seven innings of work. RJ in her last ten games on the mound has not had less than five strikeouts a game. RJ went two for three at the plate while stealing a base and scoring a run. RJ is also going to continue her education and softball career at Division I Weber State.

Even though Gracie Pereira and Mariah Smolnikar are not seniors they had a huge impact on the game as well. Gracie went two for two with a double and three stolen bases. Mariah went one for two with a run batted in.

Prescott Badgers are 9-4 and will be back in action at home taking on one of their region rivals, Flagstaff, on Thursday,  April 11th.
