Freedom games are starting to pop up on the football schedules of the state’s high school programs for the 2013-14 season.

Games between the 2012-13 Division I and II state football champs as well as the D-I and II state runner-ups are some of the intriguing match-ups already penciled in for next season. D-I defending champ Hamilton will host D-II defending champ Ironwood Ridge Sept. 27, and D-II runner-up Centennial will travel to D-I Mountain Pointe Sept. 12.

Chaparral has scheduled four tough freedom games (Marcos de Niza, Desert Mountain, Red Mountain, Brophy) so far.
