No. 23 Tucson (3-3) at No. 8 Chavez (5-2)

This game could be for the 6A Metro crown. Not too many power points left out there for Chavez but Tucson could jump into the playoff mix with a win.

 

5A CONFERENCE

 

No. 9 Buena (5-1) at No. 13 Cienega (4-2)

The winner of this game could move into position to host a first-round playoff game. Jovoni Borbon has 4,849 career passing yards.

 

No. 11 Ironwood Ridge (3-3) at No. 36 Marana (0-6)

Ironwood Ridge is in a good spot with Buena and Cienega on the horizon. Every game is a playoff game now.

 

No. 30 Sunnyside (1-5) at No. 18 Nogales (3-2)

No. 24 Desert View (3-3) at No. 34 Cholla (1-5)

No. 26 Mountain View (2-4) at No. 38 Empire (1-5)

No. 31 Rincon/UHS (3-3) at No. 35 Flowing Wells (1-5)

No. 14 Casa Grande (4-2) at No. 1 Salpointe (5-0)

Bijan Robinson is only 73 yards from 6,000 career rushing yards, making him the third ever in Arizona history to do so.. He already has the Arizona career rushes for a touchdown at 86 and he has 96 total putting him closer to breaking Christian Kirk’s 4A-6A record of 103.

 

No. 4 Sahuaro (6-1) at No. 3 Canyon del Oro (6-0)

This game is for the top seed in the 4A playoffs.

 

No. 38 Douglas (2-4) at No. 8 Walden Grove (5-1)

Walden Grove needs to keep winning to stay near the top eight.

 

No. 33 Palo Verde (3-3) at No. 13 Pueblo (5-1)

Pueblo is playing for a playoff spot the rest of the way.

 

No. 22 Catalina Foothills (2-4) at No. 46 Vista Grande (0-7)

No. 35 Rio Rico (2-4) at No. 31 Amphitheater (3-3)

Not too many power points here but Sabino needs to keep winning.

Bisbee could fall in the rankings even with a win.
