The Arizona Interscholastic Association and the Omni Tucson National Resort have entered into four-year agreement to keep the AIA Golf State Championships presented by Banner Health at the Omni’s award-winning courses.

“Omni Tucson National Resort is proud to be hosting the AIA State High School Golf Championship Tournaments through 2024,” said Glen Griffith, Omni’s Director of Membership Sales. “The two championship courses will challenge the best junior golfers in the state as they contend for individual and team honors. In addition to supporting Arizona’s student-athletes and junior golf, Omni Hotels has partnered with the PGA of America and has been named the ‘Official hotel of the PGA Tour’.”

Omni Tucson National’s two championship courses, the Sonoran and the Catalina, are where AIA teams and individuals have won titles since the 2017-18 school year. The scenery and impeccably kept grounds make it a premier destination to culminate the high school season.

The new partnership will keep the fall and spring championships at the Omni Tucson National through the 2023-24 school year. The most recent spring season was not held due to the Coronavirus pandemic cancelling all state championships.
