It’s been a near perfect season for the Arcadia Titans (5-0) on the gridiron. They show no sign of slowing down on their Homecoming night against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (0-4).

Arcadia's strong defense and red hot offense can be credited for the team's impressive start. Namely its senior running back Brady Forst's 10 touchdowns and 523 rushing yards through the first five games.

“(Forst) is playing some of the most inspiring, and determined football. Come witness, leading and performing,” Arcadia head coach Ray Brown said on X, formerly Twitter.

Forst had three touchdowns with over 150 yds in Arcadia's 35-21 victory over Camelback on Sept. 22.

The Titans look to continue their dominance against Desert Sunrise who have  scored more than 10 points in just one game this season. Desert Sunrise has allowed more than 50 points in two out of their first four games.

Arcadia's junior quarterback Braylen Rooney has had a huge jump in his production for his second year under center. Rooney has already matched his 2022-23 total TD numbers with 11 just halfway through the season. Rooney is also averaging 12.2 yards per attempt and 163 yards per game, both better than his sophomore season.

On the opposition, Mike Wallace for the Golden Hawks has struggled this season. Wallace has thrown just one TD compared to six interceptions, a stat that the Titans will hope to take advantage of tonight.

This unexpected surge of dominance from the Titans may be a surprise to many, but Brown believed in this team from Day One.

“They like each other. We’re going to have some fun and I think we’ll make some noise,” Brown told 12News prior to the season opener on Aug. 25.

Arcadia is undoubtedly the favorites tonight with hopes of a roaring crowd on homecoming night as they look to improve to 6-0 on the season. A quick playoff trip last season surely on the minds of Forst, Rooney and the rest of the team. They hope to extend their visit to the postseason this year.
