Kurt Warner will coach his son Kade this fall at Desert Mountain.

Kurt Warner will have a much closer view of his son's football skills this fall.

According to Richard Obert of AZCentral, Warner will serve as the offensive coordinator for the Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, Ariz.) football team, starting with spring ball at the end of this month.

He will join new Desert Mountain head coach Mike Morrissy's staff and will coach his son, Kade, who was a sophomore receiver and linebacker for the Wolves last fall. According to statistics submitted to MaxPreps, Kade had 62 catches for 688 yards and six touchdowns as a sophomore.

Those numbers should improve for the 6-foot-2, 190-pound target with his father calling the shots in the fall.
